We students of Bluebells School International went to Gazipur at the Delhi's biggest land fill site.It is spread over 2.5 hecters of land and is there since 30yrs.We saw how people lived in that area and wat was their condition.There was garbage all over.The smell there was very bad and we can't even imagine to live there.
So,the only solution is....start seggregating your waste at your homes itself.This will help the ragpickers out there.

good, this is the way to make children of todays generation to show the other side of the life. On the youth carnival day make it special for those children by donating books , clothes & other things to them

ReplyDeleteThe three day festival held at Rag Ghat was very enriching. We all had a great fun attending the workshops and learnt new things about how to save our planet.The confidence in people s eyes that they can change the world ,was amazing .I think that it time we should care about our mother earth.

visiting the ghazipur landfill was enriching because we saw a different view of the city and how do people also live in those conditions and are still very happy...i was also ammazed to see the view of d huge mountain like landfills..

BY P.APOORVA Our visit to the gandhi darshan (rajghat) THE YOUNG VISIONARY 2009 .I had lot of fun in these three days.From this I learnt many things
ReplyDelete: I learnt about Human Rights. Human rights are "basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled.i quoteAll human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
:I learnt about waste management. Waste management is the collection, transport,processing , recycling or disposal and monitoring of waste materials .plastics are non biodegredable.
:I also learnt Enviornment.enviornment refers to the surroundings of an object. From this learn that I will grow small sappling .i will never waste water.i will never tear paper. We know that 17 full grown trees are needed to make 1tonne of paper.
At last i wanted to say it was fun and experience because i made new friends from other schools
On the second day there i learnt macrame activity it was enriching. I learnt a lot.these types of events should be organised
it was a gr8 exp fr me and this taught me a lot!!!

It was a great fun. We are the youth who have to think over this issue. Our school is talking a good st6ep towards preserving the nature. I hope this will help a lot.
ReplyDeleteit was a mixed experience . we all felt pity to see the dependants they did not had any medical support or they were not aware of outside wrld.we dnt care for the under priviliged people but looking their conditions we our minds were sensitized .SO,hands on habitat is a very nice n helpful project
